DELIVERY AND PICKUP POLICY

LUSINE commits to notifying you of the availability of your merchandise within two (2) weeks of the date indicated in the order. You will finally get to meet your new furniture! Choose the option for taking possession on this special day:

  1. PICKUP AT OUR WAREHOUSE

PICKUP NOTICE
Pickup at our warehouse is free of charge. You must make an appointment before coming to the warehouse. An agent will contact you within 2 weeks of the availability date of your order to schedule it.

Our warehouse is located at 1287 Rue Lescarbot, door 110, Quebec City, QC G1N 3V2.

PICKUP DEADLINE FOLLOWING NOTICE
You commit to picking up your order within a maximum of two (2) weeks following the pickup notice (by appointment). If you wish to pick up your order beyond the two (2) weeks, you must pay the balance of your order and confirm the availability and storage capacity of LUSINE.

If you pick up your order two (2) months after the pickup notice without an agreement with LUSINE, interest of ten (10) percent (%) per month on the total invoice amount including taxes will apply.

If you exceed four (4) months after the pickup notice without an agreement with LUSINE, we reserve the right to resell the order, and the amount paid becomes exchangeable only and non-refundable.

ORDER LOADING
You must provide the necessary equipment for transporting the order and have prepared your vehicle to receive the order. If the clerk deems your vehicle unfit to receive the order and there is a risk of damage during transport, they will inform you and have you sign a waiver. The clerk may also take a photo to prove that the loading poses a risk of damage.

ORDER VERIFICATION
If you choose to pick up your order at the warehouse, by signing the pickup receipt, LUSINE deems that you accept your order in the received condition. If no breakage or defects are declared within the maximum 24-hour period, you become solely responsible for the received products, and any claims may incur additional fees. LUSINE is not responsible for replacing items damaged during transport. You are responsible for any breakage that may occur during transport when you pick up at our warehouse.

  1. FURNITURE DELIVERY ACROSS QUEBEC

Delivery is scheduled only when the order is ready. LUSINE commits to contacting you within two (2) weeks of the order availability date to schedule delivery. We will inform you of our availability based on your area and will reserve your date. Your delivery window will be confirmed the day before delivery.

OUR DELIVERY RATES
We are currently working on deploying our delivery system across the province of Quebec. However, we have optimized certain regions with preferential rates, listed below.

When completing your purchase, if your address matches one of these zones, it will be offered to you.

  • Quebec City Region - $195
    Estimated delivery time up to 2 weeks after the order availability date.
  • Montreal Region - $195
    Estimated delivery time up to 2 weeks after the order availability date.
  • Central Quebec - $195
    Estimated delivery time up to 4 weeks after the order availability date.
  • Saguenay - $265
    Estimated delivery time up to 4 weeks after the order availability date.
  • Beauce - $195
    Estimated delivery time up to 4 weeks after the order availability date.
  • Sherbrooke - $265
    Estimated delivery time up to 4 weeks after the order availability date.
  • Bas-Saint-Laurent - $315
    Estimated delivery time up to 4 weeks after the order availability date.

CLIENT PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY
You must measure the door frame and any space through which the movers must pass to deliver your furniture and ensure that the passage is clear and sufficient. We recommend removing any objects that could be damaged during delivery. We strongly suggest removing decorative rugs that are in the movers' path. Otherwise, LUSINE reserves the right not to deliver and install the furniture in the designated location. Fees will be charged accordingly. If the delivery truck cannot reach the delivery point, you must notify our logistics manager to find a solution, or new delivery fees will be charged.

INSURANCE
For insurance reasons, movers cannot move furniture other than LUSINE's, that is, the furniture intended for delivery. They also keep their shoes on during delivery for this reason.

AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE AT DELIVERY
If you appoint a third party to receive the furniture, this person must be 18 years or older. They are considered your representative, and their signature is equivalent to yours. LUSINE reserves the right to photograph the areas where items are placed for warranty purposes.

POST-DELIVERY INSPECTION
You must inspect the delivered products before signing and paying the final invoice, if applicable. You are also responsible for immediately informing the mover of any anomalies; otherwise, LUSINE presumes that you have approved the delivery and are satisfied with the delivery contents. Once the movers have left the delivery site, if no breakage or defects are declared within the maximum 24-hour period, you become solely responsible for the received products, and any claims may incur additional fees.

  1. DECORATIVE ACCESSORIES DELIVERY

This delivery method is valid for an order containing only products from the DECOR section of the site.

When completing your purchase, if your address matches one of the zones below, a fixed rate of $25 will be offered. Please allow up to 10 business days from the order availability date for receipt of the merchandise.

  • Montreal Region
  • Central Quebec
  • Saguenay
  • Beauce
  • Sherbrooke
  • Bas-Saint-Laurent
