Your mission, as an Accounting Clerk, will consist of being responsible for managing the daily accounting operations and various administrative tasks of our company.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
ENSURE PROPER ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Manage accounts payable and receivable;
- Invoice, record, and manage client accounts (follow-ups);
- Record and manage supplier accounts and verify expenses according to company policies;
- Make deposits and record receipts;
- Follow up on billing;
- Assist in bank reconciliations, credit cards, and expense accounts.
PRODUCE FINANCIAL AND ACCOUNTING REPORTS
- Support the production of government reports (GST, QST, etc.);
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts;
- Assist with the annual preparation of R&D tax credits or any other available credits;
- Keep various management reports up to date;
- Participate in the monthly and annual financial statement production process;
- Produce certain administrative reports required for financial evaluation;
- Participate in improving the accounting process;
- Perform any other related accounting tasks.
TO BE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR, YOU MUST:
- Have a professional or collegial diploma in accounting;
- Have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
- Be comfortable using various computer systems;
- Knowledge of the Zoho Books accounting system (asset);
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office;
- Rigorous and discreet;
- Ability to adapt and analyze;
